Founder and Head Optician
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to visit Ferguson Optics. My name is TJ, and I am the founder and head optician here. More than that, I am a husband, a father, and a son, and I have always been someone who loves learning, building, and understanding how things work.
I found my way into opticianry when I was 20 years old and quickly realized I had found something meaningful. Helping someone see clearly, sometimes for the first time in years, can have a real impact on how they experience daily life. That opportunity to serve is what has kept me in this field.
My philosophy is simple: if you listen, people will tell you what they need. My role is to understand how you actually use your vision, apply the technical side correctly, and deliver the best possible solution the first time. When something does not go as planned, I believe in taking ownership and making it right.
Ferguson Optics was built around that same idea. I chose a mobile model because it allows me to meet people where they are, provide focused one-on-one attention, and create a relaxed, thoughtful experience centered on fit, clarity, trust, and practical results.
